VERA STRING QUARTET (Spain/U.S.A.) - Winners of the 2018 Astral Artists National Auditions, the Vera Quartet is currently the String Quartet in Residence at the Curtis Institute of Music. The quartet has received Grand Prizes at Plowman and Yellow Springs chamber music competitions and awards from the M-Prize and Wigmore Hall International competitions. Formed in 2015, the quartet has worked with the Pacifica Quartet and has also have been mentored by members of the Guarneri, Juilliard, Cleveland, Brentano, Orion, and Tokyo quartets, as well as Atar Arad, Mauricio Fuks, and Peter Stumpf.

The Vera Quartet is an official selection of the 13th Banff International String Quartet Competition (August 26 – September 1, 2019).

VIANO STRING QUARTET (Canada/USA) - Winner of the Third Prize, the Haydn Prize and the Sidney Griller Award at the 2018 London Wigmore Hall International Competition, the Viano String Quartet has also won the Third Prize at the 2017 Osaka International Competition. Formed in 2015 at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, the quartet works primarily with Martin Beaver, as well as Clive Greensmith, Paul Coletti and Fabio Bidini. They have also received coachings from David Finckel, Gary Hoffman, Arnold Steinhardt, and members of the Emerson, Brentano, St. Lawrence and Calidore quartets.

The Viano Quartet is an official selection of the 13th Banff International String Quartet Competition (August 26 – September 1, 2019).
